These images were taken on a snowy day in February at Caumsett State Park, The Planting Fields, and a secret place in Cold Spring Harbor. Although each image seems to be an experience of a winter wonderland, there’s a whole other story to be told.
As a photographer, its not only what I see in the view finder, its what I feel as I listen to the image speak to me.
Then I compose the image, and its mine forever.
These images are about what it’s like to be alone in the world. They are about solitude and connecting with that quiet place inside.
I invite you, as the viewer, for just one moment to go to that quiet place. For only one moment.
